Limited Lifetime Warranty & Next Day Service
Register to enjoy D-Link Limited Lifetime Warranty support. We’ll also send out a replacement product to you on the next business day after acceptance of product failure.
Extensive Layer 2 & Layer 3 Lite features.
The DXS-1210 series includes layer 2 features such as port mirroring, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP). They also support IP interfaces, ARP, IPv6 Neighbor Discovery (ND), default routing, IPv4/IPv6 static routing, IGMP and MLD Snooping, auto voice and surveillance VLAN, LLDP and LLDP-MED.
Improved intranet performance
Inter-VLAN routing allows traffic to be routed between VLANs without passing through the router, reducing the load on the router as well as the backbone networks.
Security and QoS controls for priorities
Security controls for protection of the network, and QoS ensures essential traffic reaches its destination.
Versatile network management options.
The DXS-1210 Series comes with the D-Link Network Assistant (DNA) utility which simplifies the discovery of devices using the D-Link Discovery Protocol within the same L2 network segment and displays them on screen for instant access. Simultaneous configurations and basic setups of all discovered devices, including password changes and firmware upgrades, can then be done easily.
The DXS-1210 Series also supports a full Telnet Command Line Interface (CLI) and D-View 7 – a network management system (NMS) that allows central management of critical network characteristics such as availability, reliability, resilience, and security.
Manage the network with our free D-View 7
Easy-to-use Network Management Software
Monitor the network’s real-time status, configure virtually any device as long as it supports SNMP, probe the network with the included 25 nodes and 2 probes (additional licenses can be purchased to increase the number of nodes and probes supported), and more.
Reporting and Troubleshooting
Provides network alerts and history, and provides quick access to the switches’ configuration.
Maintenance and advanced features
Upgrade the firmware on multiple devices simultaneously or individually, and schedule maintenance tasks for off-peak hours.
Seamless integration.
The DXS-1210 Series comes with both RJ45 and SFP+ ports capable of connecting to Cat. 6 and fibre for 10G Ethernet. Additionally, the DXS-1210-28T comes with 4 x 10/25G SFP28 ports. This means the DXS-1210 series can provide a flexible solution for upstream or downstream server connections, making network deployment easier.
Security with every port.
The innovative D-Link Safeguard Engine protects the switches against traffic flooding caused by malicious attacks and increases overall network reliability.
These switches also feature Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) spoofing prevention which further protects the network from cyber attacks. They also use packet control ACLs to block invalid packets that contain fake ARP messages.
The Access Control List (ACL) helps protect the internal IT network through permission-based network access.
The DHCP server screen feature filters DHCP replies on unauthorised ports to prevent them from being assigned an IP address.
And support for 802.1X port-based and host-based authentication allows the network to be authenticated through external RADIUS servers.
